We will study the chosen verse of Holy Book of Quran. Our main focus would be to uncover the correlation between different words in Quran, placement of words in Quran , how distinctively each topic of Quran is associated and structured with different topics .Our discussion will be based on the following parameters

يُّؤْتِي الْحِكْمَةَ مَنْ يَّشَاۗءُ  ۚ وَمَنْ يُّؤْتَ الْحِكْمَةَ فَقَدْ اُوْتِيَ خَيْرًا كَثِيْرًا ۭوَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ اِلَّآ اُولُوا الْاَلْبَابِ

He gives wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding. (Chapter # 02, Verse # 269)

وَاِنْ كُنْتُمْ فِىْ رَيْبٍ مِّمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلٰي عَبْدِنَا فَاْتُوْا بِسُوْرَةٍ مِّنْ مِّثْلِهٖ ۠ وَادْعُوْا شُهَدَاۗءَكُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ

يُّؤْتِي

The first placement of the word فَاْتُوْ is in Chapter # 02, Verse No 23 where Allah Subhan O Talah put forward a challenge to the deniers If you really think this is the word of an insane, liar, plagiarism or old stories, then; “Produce a Chapter similar to it.”

وَمَآ اُمِرُوْٓا اِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ ڏ حُنَفَاۗءَ وَيُقِيْمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكٰوةَ وَذٰلِكَ دِيْنُ الْقَيِّمَةِ

The last placement of the word يُؤْتُو is in Chapter # 98, Verse No 05 where Allah Subhan O Talah elaborate the characteristics of believer that he only worship Allah, sincere to his religion, establish prayer and to give zakat. And that is the correct religion.

قَالُوْا سُبْحٰــنَكَ لَاعِلْمَ لَنَآ اِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا ۭ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَلِيْمُ الْحَكِيْمُ

الْحِكْمَةَ

The first placement of word الْحَكِيْمُ  is in Chapter # 02, Verse No 32, where angles responded to a question that “O Allah you are constantly always perfect, we have absolutely no knowledge except what you have taught us.” So, when Allah taught you, he will bestow you wisdom which could not be challenged like “يُّؤْتِي”

اَلَيْسَ اللّٰهُ بِاَحْكَمِ الْحٰكِمِيْنَ

The last placement of the word الْحٰكِمِيْنَ is in Chapter # 95, Verse No 08, where Allah Subah O Talah is asking a question “Is not Allah the most just of judges?”. An excellent co-relation between Chapter # 02, Verse No 32 and Chapter # 95, Verse No 08 where angles are responding to a question and Allah Subhan O Talah closing his verdict with a question to entire mankind. Is not Allah the most Just of Judges? What I understand that Angles has accepted the supremacy of Allah and in his closing remarks Allah Subhan O Talah put a question to entire mankind if I am not the governor, chief of the whole universe than who is الْحٰكِمِيْنَ?

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَّقُوْلُ اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰهِ وَبِالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَمَا ھُمْ بِمُؤْمِنِيْنَ

مَنْ

The first placement of word مَنْ is in Chapter # 02, Verse No 08, where Allah Subhan O Talah explains the hypocrite who is pretending to be amongst the believer but actually he wasn’t.

وَاَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِيْنُهٗ

The last placement of word مَنْ is in Chapter # 101, Verse No 08 and in closing remarks Allah categorically define that hypocrite deeds are خَفَّتْ (attenuate, something longer and thinner, Muted). His deeds are feather light . His deeds will not make any difference. In a same manner when group of people are in a hard discussion and all of sudden, they turn silent. Similarly, hypocrite deeds will be present on the day of judgement but they will be in silent mode mean will not make any difference at all.

يَكَادُ الْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ اَبْصَارَھُمْ ۭ كُلَّمَآ اَضَاۗءَ لَھُمْ مَّشَوْا فِيْهِ ڎ وَاِذَآ اَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُوْا ۭ وَلَوْ شَاۗءَ اللّٰهُ لَذَھَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَاَبْصَارِهِمْ ۭ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰي كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ

يَّشَاۗءُ

The first placement of word شَاۗءَ  is in Chapter # 02, Verse No 20 where Allah Subah O Talah paint a scene about a thunderstorm and lighting. “Every time the light comes out for them – they see, but when it goes again – they stand.” The scholars comment that this refers to the easy good deeds. So when the hypocrite sees easy good deeds – he walks forward a bit with the believers, then suddenly stops again when he faces hardship, and sticks his fingers in his ears again. When hypocrite shows animosity, he could have revoked the Listening and hearing capability. “And if Allah had willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight. Indeed, Allah is over all things”.

اِلَّا مَا شَاۗءَ اللّٰهُ ۭ اِنَّهٗ يَعْلَمُ الْجَـهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفٰى

The last placement of word شَاۗءَ is in Chapter # 87, Verse No 07 where Allah Subah O Talah used “except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden”. In this verse Allah Subhan O Talah uses two subtle words declared and hidden and in Chapter # 02, Verse No 20 he uses Ears and Eyes. The ear’s function is to transmit and transduce sound to the brain through the parts of the ear mean whatever is declared(الْجَـهْر) The ear will use sound and transmit it to the brain. In a contrast the role of the eye is to convert light into electrical signals called nerve impulses that the brain converts into images of our surroundings. All this process happens in a silence(يَخْفٰى) mode. When Allah Subhan O Talah wanted to shower his wisdom, he will open your ears and eyes. 

اَمْ تُرِيْدُوْنَ اَنْ تَسْـــَٔـلُوْا رَسُوْلَكُمْ كَمَا سُىِٕلَ مُوْسٰى مِنْ قَبْلُ ۭ وَمَنْ يَّتَـبَدَّلِ الْكُفْرَ بِالْاِيْمَانِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاۗءَ السَّبِيْلِ

فَقَدْ

The first placement of word فَقَدْ is in Chapter # 02, Verse No 108 is about “Or do you intend to ask your Messenger as Moses was asked before? And whoever exchanges faith for disbelief has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way.”

 In Chapter # 66 ,Verse No 03 , [Remember] when the Prophet had [once] confided something to one of his wives, then when she disclosed it [to another wife] and Allah made it known to him, he presented [to her] part of what was disclosed and overlooked a part. So when he informed her of it, she exclaimed, “Who told you this?” He replied, “I was informed by the All-Knowing, All-Aware.”

اِنْ تَتُوْبَآ اِلَى اللّٰهِ فَقَدْ صَغَتْ قُلُوْبُكُمَا ۚ وَاِنْ تَظٰهَرَا عَلَيْهِ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ مَوْلٰىهُ وَجِبْرِيْلُ وَصَالِحُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ۚ وَالْمَلٰۗىِٕكَةُ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ ظَهِيْر

The last placement of word فَقَدْ is in Chapter # 66, Verse No 04 where Allah Subhan O Talah emphasizing repentance to the wives of Messenger of Allah that “It will be better if you [wives] both turn to Allah in repentance, for your hearts have certainly faltered. But if you [continue to] collaborate against him, then [know that] Allah Himself is his Guardian. And Gabriel, the righteous believers, and the angels are [all] his supporters as well.

So, If you will question Rasool Allah (SAW) authenticity then Allah Subhan O Talah admonish all of us “if you [continue to] collaborate against him, then [know that] Allah Himself is his Guardian. And Gabriel, the righteous believers, and the angels are [all] his supporters as well.”

وَاِذْ قَالَ مُوْسٰى لِقَوْمِهٖ يٰقَوْمِ اِنَّكُمْ ظَلَمْتُمْ اَنْفُسَكُمْ بِاتِّخَاذِكُمُ الْعِجْلَ فَتُوْبُوْٓا اِلٰى بَارِىِٕكُمْ فَاقْتُلُوْٓا اَنْفُسَكُمْ ۭ ذٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ عِنْدَ بَارِىِٕكُمْ ۭ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۭ اِنَّھٗ ھُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ

خَيْرًا

The first placement of word خَيْرٌ Chapter # 02, Verse No 54 is also emphasizing predecessor context of repentance “And [remember] when Moses said to his people, “O my people! Surely you have wronged yourselves by worshipping the calf, so turn in repentance to your Creator and execute [the calf-worshippers among] yourselves. That is best for you in the sight of your Creator.” Then He accepted your repentance. Surely, He is the Accepter of Repentance, Most Merciful. The best thing in the sight of your creator to execute the Calf worshipper.

وَاِنَّهٗ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيْدٌ

The last placement of word الْخَيْر is in Chapter # 100, Verse No 08 Allah underscore the obsession of worldly gains “and they are truly extreme in their love of [worldly] gains.” Repentance and execution of worldly gains is actually الْخَيْر

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَسْتَحْىٖٓ اَنْ يَّضْرِبَ مَثَلًا مَّا بَعُوْضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا ۭ فَاَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا فَيَعْلَمُوْنَ اَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّهِمْ ۚ وَاَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا فَيَقُوْلُوْنَ مَاذَآ اَرَادَ اللّٰهُ بِهٰذَا مَثَلًا ۘ يُضِلُّ بِهٖ كَثِيْرًا ۙ وَّيَهْدِىْ بِهٖ كَثِيْرًا ۭ وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهٖٓ اِلَّا الْفٰسِقِيْنَ

كَثِيْرً

The first placement of word كَثِيْرًا  is in Chapter # 02, Verse No 26 Surely Allah does not shy away from using the parable of a mosquito or what is even smaller. As for the believers, they know that it is the truth from their Lord. And as for the disbelievers, they argue, “What does Allah mean by such a parable?” Through this ˹test˺, He leaves many to stray, and guides many. And He leaves none to stray except the rebellious

اِنَّآ اَعْطَيْنٰكَ الْكَوْثَرَ

The last placement of word الْكَوْثَرَ is in Chapter # 108, Verse 01. Indeed, We have granted you [O Prophet] abundant [Al-Kawthar) goodness. The magnitude of comparison is marvelous on one side Allah Subhan of Talah is referring to a Mosquito and on the Other side Al-Kawthar.

ٰبَنِىْٓ اِسْرَاۗءِيْلَ اذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتِىَ الَّتِىْٓ اَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَاَوْفُوْا بِعَهْدِىْٓ اُوْفِ بِعَهْدِكُمْ ۚ وَاِيَّاىَ فَارْھَبُوْنِ

يَذَّكَّرُ

The first placement of word اذْكُرُوْ Chapter # 02, Verse No 40 O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me.

وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ

The last placement of word ذِكْرَكَ Chapter # 94, Verse No 04 .And raised high for you your repute.

وَلَكُمْ فِي الْقِصَاصِ حَيٰوةٌ يّـٰٓــاُولِي الْاَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُوْنَ

اُولُو

The first placement of word يّـٰٓــاُولِي Chapter # 02, Verse No 179 And there is for you in legal retribution [saving of] life, O you [people] of understanding, that you may become righteous.

اَعَدَّ اللّٰهُ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيْدًا ۙ فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ يٰٓاُولِي الْاَلْبَابِ ڂ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا ٽ قَدْ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ اِلَيْكُمْ ذِكْرًا

The last placement of word يٰٓاُولِي Chapter # 65, Verse No 10 Allah has [also] prepared for them a severe punishment. So fear Allah, O  people of reason and faith. Allah has indeed revealed to you a Reminder.

وَلَكُمْ فِي الْقِصَاصِ حَيٰوةٌ يّـٰٓــاُولِي الْاَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُوْنَ

الْاَلْبَابِ

The first placement of word الْاَلْبَابِ Chapter # 02, Verse No 179 And there is for you in legal retribution [saving of] life, O you [people] of understanding, that you may become righteous.

The last placement of word الْاَلْبَابِ  Chapter # 65, Verse No 10 Allah has [also] prepared for them a severe punishment. So fear Allah, O  people of reason and faith. Allah has indeed revealed to you a Reminder.

Conclusion

So, when Allah Subhan O Talah bless you he will bestow you the wisdom. That knowledge and wisdom could not be challenged at all. When you touch the pinnacle of that wisdom you will have the following attributes in your personality

  • Commitment and your first Priority is Allah and His Messenger
  • Repentance and submission
  • Improvement in Analytical skills
  • Inclination to Truth
  • Establishment of prayers
  • Give Zakat
